Seasons greetings!!!

We are still going through the process of immigration for Sarathlal into Canada, this has not been an easy process and it is very difficult to be positive.

None-the-less we are thankful to have one another and know that when our moment comes we will be re-united.

It took a lot of work to get all the papers together and we submitted it at the end of July 2010. Victoria was approved as a sponsor and next the Canadian Consulate in Delhi was sent the application and soon after (mid-october) they requested Sarath's passport.

Since then we haven't heard much, we were asked to submit a couple more documents about the work Sarath did in Moscow, Russia (he was a Yoga teacher there).

We are now waiting to be re-united and pray that it will be soon. Being apart is very difficult but luckily our relationship is very strong:)

Please meditate, pray and/or send us some positive thoughts so we can be together soon.

Thank you:)

Waiting and 'Woofing'

We are currently waiting for our marriage certificate, we applied under the 'special marriage act' here in India. Our application took place here in thrissur on the 5th of April, therefore it should take about a month to get the certificate.

We are also in the process of collecting all of our emails, tickets, photos etc... for Sarath's immigration application into Canada.

We spent a couple of weeks 'woofing' (worldwide opportunities on organic farms) on an Amla farm in Jaipur, here are some snaps from our time there.

Victorius Autumn

'International exchange of blood is nice, provided the couple are able to adjust themselves in the social atmosphere. There must be some sort of common ground in the culture, in the thinking, etc., and then international marriage can be successful. We want an International race; not Hindu, not Muslim, not Christian, not Jewish. International Marriage is the way to achieve this.'

-Swami Satyananda Saraswati

Thank you for looking at our blog. We are Sarathlal P.V (Indian) and Victoria Rae Nestorowicz (Canadian) as Ida and Pingala, joining together in marriage in May 2010.

We are beginning this blog to document our process of international marriage.

We met in 2008 at an Ashram in the south of India, together we studied Yoga and currently teach. We spent one year contacting each other long distance, and re-united Jan 2010. We will post photos, video and information here about our trials and tribulations of an international union.

Currently, we have applied for a marriage certificate under the 'special marriage act'.

Any comments, questions or suggestions are welcomed:)
